Carpentry

This program is designed to teach an individual fundamental (4week) and advanced skills (8 weeks) and knowledge pertaining to the Building Construction industry through classroom and laboratory instruction, and through practice. Students will terminology, techniques, tools, equipment, and materials used in wood frame building construction. In addition, students will learn a variety of safety practices and basic blueprint reading. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, a graduate will be prepared for entry level employment in the building industry.

Because of the widespread nature and importance of the Construction Industry, you will find jobs in this business almost anywhere.
